Bob & Matt’s

London To Paris

Bike Ride 2010

We completed the ride on the afternoon of Tuesday 1st June. 6 punctures between us, 5 on Matt’s bike. Matt going over the handlebars. Lots of big hills and at least one official mountain! Very strong head winds and 297 miles of road.

We started from London’s Hyde Park Corner and rode to Notre Dame in Paris. Our route took us to Dover, crossing into Calais then onto Abbeville, Beauvais and Paris, a total nearly 300 miles.

We Started on Saturday 29th May and finish on Tuesday 1st June

We are both raising money for our chosen charities.

Bob’s Charity is The Friends of the Five Parishes, Matt’s is Willen Hospice.
